The peasant picked one of the pieces of paper and tore it up. He then asked the king to show him the other piece of paper which, of course, said EXILE. The king, not wishing to appear fraudulent in front of his subjects, granted that the piece of paper the peasant had picked must have said MARRIAGE.

The milkman was the only male. The doctor and lawyer were females, so the cop knew that “John” was the milkman.

The tank with the one -two centimeter drain outlet has twice the area as two -one centimeter outlets and will therefore empty first.

Twenty one. Most people would think there were 42 handshakes, but when A shakes hands with B, B has already shaken hands with A and need not do it again.
